Trying to weigh the pros and cons of dropping my unlimited data plan ($30) for the 4gb w/tethering plan ($45). Usage is between 2-3gb a month now. Anyone else done this or thought about doing it? I’m trying to think about the future. Today if you have an unlimited plan and are in the top 5% of data users they throttle your speeds once you hit that 5% threshold. Not saying I’m close to that but who knows what the future brings. I’m grandfathered in for the unlimited plan and I’ve been putting this off waiting to hear what AT&T is going to do with their data plans when they roll out 4G for iPhone users. I currently pay $60 a month for a mobile data plan through Sprint so switching to the AT&T one would save me $45 a month.
Thoughts?
